Pro Care by Abound Health is seeking a hands-on and mission-driven Assistant Program Director to join our team in Southfield, MI. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will lead employees, strengthen daily operations, and help ensure individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities receive dependable, person-centered support. Key Responsibilities:
Hire, coach, and develop Care Coordinators, administrative employees, and other support team members.
Help lead daily program operations and create an environment where clients and employees can thrive.
Build strong relationships with clients, families, employees, payers, and community partners.
Monitor service authorizations and help remove barriers that could interrupt client services.
Oversee quality assurance, incident reporting, grievances, and required follow-up.
Ensure documentation and services meet Medicaid, HIPAA, payer, and accreditation requirements.
Identify opportunities to strengthen operations, improve the client experience, and support continued growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and five years of management experience in the PCS or IDD field preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of ISP implementation, goal writing, Medicaid services, and billing requirements.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance.
Ability to travel occasionally and pass all required background and registry checks.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base pay is determined by factors such as work location, experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, total compensation may include various other forms of pay. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive health, dental, and wellness benefits, which begin on your 60th day of employment.
